Why you started your blog and keep posting on your blog?

I started my blog to gain a greater sense of community. We moved to San Antonio in March 2011 to be closer to my inlaws who were dealing with some health issues. It was so hard to start over in a new city and so blogging has helped me make some instant friendships!

What keeps you happy?

My faith keeps me happy, or I should say, joyful. I have joy in the Lord and happiness from the overwhelming blessings He provides each day. My three kids, my devoted husband and my precious friends are all huge factors.


  What is your blog about? 

My blog is about frugal crafting and decorating, life with three kids, adoption (our youngest was adopted from India), my faith as a Christian, and anything else that is going on in my life!What do you love? 

I love simple pleasures: sitting outside watching the kids play, no schedule for a day, enjoying a Netflix show with my husband, time with a good friend.


What is the prettiest place you've ever been? 

The prettiest place I've ever been is probably Seattle, Washington. We went there on a vacation about 8 years ago and I was in awe of the lush landscape and green, green forests.

Why you started your blog and keep blogging on your blog?

I started my blog as an outlet for my healthy cupcake and cookie business, but I soon realized that it wasn't just for that, it was to meet other people from different blogs, and to show the blogger world what I can do as a home based baker.  I also started to link to other people's blogs and then you get to know more people, this is really a wonderful outlet.

What is your blog about?

My blog is about taking your ordinary cupcakes and cookies recipe, and tweaking them into healthy cupcakes and cookies.  Majority of the recipes that I tweak come out successful.

What keeps you happy?

My family makes me happy, knowing that the Lord blessed me with a wonderful husband for the past 15 years, and 5 handsome boys and 1 beautiful baby girl brightens my day.

What do you love?

I love God, my family, listening to my praise and worship music and baking.

What is the prettiest place you've ever been?

Massanutten, VA is the prettiest place I have been, the mountains are so beautiful, I would love to move there when the kids leave the nest.
